print this pageThe Purpose of Visiting Barsana Dham

The purpose of visiting Barsana Dham is to learn about and experience devotional living.

Barsana Dham is like an ancient Ashram in the tradition of the great Masters of Vrindaban. With the Grace of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, His Divinity Swami Prakashanand Saraswati established Barsana Dham as a devotional representation of Braj, India, so that devotees living in the West could visit and feel the same devotionally uplifting vibrations as if they were in Vrindaban or Barsana in India.

During your stay you will gain a deeper understanding of eternal teachings of the Upnishads, Gita and Bhagwatam through Shree Swamiji’s and Shree Maharajji’s speeches, books and videotapes and have a practical experience of Radha Krishn love through the chanting of the Divine names. When Shree Swamiji is in residence you may receive his personal blessings and guidance.

Arise, awake, seek the holy association of Saints
and acquire true knowledge of God.

Barsana Dham is a world which is sheltered by love, devotion, and purity. I am blessed to have had a chance to meet Shree Swamiji. I count myself as one of the lucky ones who have had the chance to experience the Divineness of this place. It was a whole new joy which shall linger in my mind for the rest of my life.
