Satsang and Activities
Satsang (सत्संग) at Barsana Dham
Coming for satsang at Barsana Dham allows an aspiring soul to participate in a satsang like those of the Ashrams of our great Saints of 500 years ago. The setting and every element of each satsang program is imbued with the Grace of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj. From the intricately-designed and grand architecture to the impressively realistic sky ceiling to the depiction of the essence of the whole of our scriptures on continuous panels wrapping around all four sides of the prayer hall to the inspiring and beautiful devotional pictures of Radha Krishn and the nikunj darshan of the elegantly-costumed and life-size Deities in the marvelously created shrine, everything is for one purpose: to enable the soul to realize the purpose of this precious life by coming closer to Radha Krishn and fully realizing Their Divine love.

Elements of our Satsang Program
Prayer
We begin satsang with a prayer of surrender that enhances our humility and deepens our longing for God.
O my dearest darling, the absolute supreme Shree Krishn! I suffered to extremes in this world from the very beginning as I have ignored Your Grace. My heart has become so impious by material associations, that even having learned from Your loving Saints, that You are waiting for me with Your open arms to embrace, and You are looking to me with Your Graceful eyes to Grace, I have failed to surrender my ‘self’ to You.
O Refuge of Destitutes! Who can know You without Your Grace?
O Form of Kindness, Shree Krishn! Please make me Your own with a glance of Your causeless Grace.
O Ocean of Love! I have no worldly ambition nor do I wish for liberation, I only wish to receive Your desireless Divine love.
O Lord! Looking unto Yourself, do not dishearten Your pitiable child. O My Soul-loved Krishn! Now it has come to the utmost. This life without Your love is worse than death, so, endow alms of Your love, endow alms of Your love, endow alms of Your love,
Glory to Bhagwan Ram who does leelas in Saket.
Glory to beloved Krishn who does leelas in Vrindaban.
Glory to most respected supreme Divine Master
Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj.Jai Shree Radhey, Jai Shree Radhey, Jai Shree Radhey.
Chanting Meditation (pad kirtan or nam sankirtan)
All the chantings sung at Barsana Dham relate to the supremely loving form of God. Remembrance of the Divine names of Radha Krishn while imagining Them near to you is the direct means of experiencing Divine love. During the chanting, relax and feel the loving presence of God near you. Listen to some chanting.
Speech by Swamiji or Shree Maharajji (Video)
Videos of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj (Shree Maharajji) in Hindi and elucidations of his teachings in English by his foremost disciple, H.D. Swami Prakashanand Saraswati (Swamiji) explain the true science of the Divine existence and the path of God realization according to the sacred Sanskrit scriptures and the teachings of the great Masters of India. Listen to a speech.
Arti and Homage
Arti (waving the light before the Deities) is a traditional form of worship where the devotees offer their body, mind and soul to their Beloved God. The words of the arti and homage are printed on the prayer cards in Hindi and English transliteration of the Hindi and an English translation is provided as well. At the conclusion of arti the light is offered to the Deities and the Spiritual Master and then all participants are offered the light as a blessing.
Prasad
Dried fruits and nuts, fresh fruits or sweets are offered to the Deities and Spiritual Master. Then these are distributed as a blessing (prasad).
Darshan and Silent Meditation
The central Deity of Shree Raseshwari Radha Rani, the Deities of Radha Krishn and the Deity of Chaitanya Mahaprabhuji are established in a beautiful flowering garden (nikunj). While having darshan of the Deities, devotees meditate and try to experience love for the personal form of God as described in the scriptures and by the great Saints of Vrindaban, India.
