Experience the sights and sounds of India as you enjoy a day of fun for the entire family in a traditional Hindu temple during the annual Open House. This popular event draws 5,000 – 7,000 thousand attendees from throughout Central Texas every year.
Attractions include festive Indian dance and music performances throughout the afternoon; enjoy your favorite Indian drinks like thandai, lassi, rose milk, mango shake and chai. Visit the sweet stall for an assortment plate of regional delicacies. Popular snack items and the Barsana Dham meal plate are available as well as children’s favorites such as pizza, ice cream and cotton candy.
Browse among booths of Indian handicrafts and clothing in an open air bazaar. Enjoy roving vendors & entertainers. Play games and win prizes. See the wildflowers in full bloom as you take a carriage ride winding through the grounds.

The Temple and magnificent prayer hall are open to visitors throughout the day. You are invited to discover the beauty of Hinduism by listening to talks presented by Barsana Dham teachers.
