About Barsana Dham

Our Mission

To spread the teachings of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, the International Society of Divine Love (ISDL) was founded by Shree Swamiji in India in 1975, in New Zealand in 1978 and in the U.S. in 1981. He also founded Rangeeli Mahal Pratishthan, in Barsana, India in 1996. They are registered nonprofit, religious, educational and charitable organizations. At the end of 2002, these organizations were merged into a new worldwide organization called Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat. The Barsana Dham, USA  branch is now known as Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, Barsana Dham.

As such, we have two main objectives: to reveal the eternal knowledge of the Upnishads (Vedas), the Gita and the Bhagwatam, etc. and to impart the practical process of divine upliftment called ‘raganuga bhakti’ or ‘divine love consciousness.’

Divine Love Consciousness

The Divine energy that unites a soul with Supreme God is called divine love consciousness. The Supreme power of God is called ‘Divine love.’ A spark of that love lies dormant in the depths of every human heart. Through a practical process of meditation, chanting, and remembrance, the power of divine love is enlivened and in this way, the Blissfulness of the Divine name dawns in the mind and remains in the mind all the time. This is divine love consciousness. We only use such Divine names in the chanting that are directly related to the all-beautiful, all-Blissful, and all-loving Supreme God.
